Andorra is one of the cheapest countries in Europe which helps in attracting many tourists here. It lies among the eastern Pyrenees mountain range and thus has many hiking trails that tourists can enjoy in summers when the snow is thawed. But the same trails can house some great ski resorts in winter.

Religion & Culture:

As Andorra has been a home for Roman Catholics, shrines and festivals are one of the major attractions here. Many old houses, shrines, and churches of the Roman era are some places tourists should not fail to visit. The ‘Our Lady of Meritxell’ is the most famous shrine here. September 8, the festival day of its patroness, is one of the most important festivals here. Pilgrims and Tourists visit the beautiful place on this very day from places like France and Spain to pay homage to the Patroness.

Adventure in Andorra:

It is being one of the cheapest places in Europe is very famous for its ski resorts. Ski enthusiasts from all over Europe visit Andorra in winters to glide down the beautiful Pyrenean slopes. Since it has a mixed Alpine and Continental climate, summers here are usually chilly, with a slight amount of rain and a cool breeze blowing all over. This kind of temperature is best when you are a hiking lover.

The Andorran mountains have some great trails for hiking, even you are an amateur in hiking don’t worry there are some gentle slopes for you to begin with.

Andorra is the sixth smallest nation in Europe. Although being this small the country is filled up with many villages that offer the best ski experiences.

Bitter Truth:

Andorra’s economy is majorly slighted towards Tourism and transport. With almost 10 million tourists annually, It is still an undiscovered destination for the world. 92% of the tourists visiting here are from Spain and France. Seeing at the beauty of this spot it seems sad that such a beautiful place is shadowed under some hyped European countries.
