The capital city of the state of  South Australia, Adelaide is the heart of festivals and celebrations. This city is an entertainment package and it stays lit with fantastic experiences throughout the year. Finally, the amusing coastline and sunny beaches offer you excitement and fun that seal the deal and complete your thrilling vacation.

Adelaide has an English culture and picks up inspiration for its customs and artwork from European and German roots. It is UNESCO’s Creativity City that implies the art, music, carnivals, and events of Adelaide provides you with above the world entertainment. If you want to witness one of these, Adelaide Fringe and WOMADelaide are the most vibrant and enthusiastic events. The center of cultural events is the banks of Torrens where music, dance, and theatre are performed. Most of these festivals take place during the first two weeks of March, it is popularly known as the “Mad March” period.

CUISINE

The city of Adelaide is full of excellent dining spots and serves mouth-watering delicacies. You can have a big fat pork belly sandwich with a dose of caffeine as you head out. If you want to do something crazy, try out the champagnes with your breakfast! One of the iconic dishes served in Adelaide is the Pie Floater. This is an upside-down meat pie served with sauce and pea soup. Another appetizing dish is Banjan Borani; eggplant cooked with fresh tomatoes and onions. If you are in Adelaide around the weekends, then do not miss to try the farm-fresh products, especially the cheese and jams.
