Moreover, Bolivia is the fifth largest country in Latin America with a very diversified population. The biggest catch here is undoubtedly the mountain ranges of the Andes and the luscious Amazon Rainforests. Nothing can beat the massive salt flats, Salar de Uyuni, which exhibit the most amazing and breathtaking scenarios. There is no place here where you get a bad photograph!
LUCKY DIP
Bolivia is rising from the issues it has been facing for quite a period and is now getting on the list of travelers. There is a lot this country has to offer. Firstly, the sky view of the evergreen Amazon forests will give you an adrenaline rush. The fact that Amazon Jungles boast about the tremendous variety of wildlife species will be a thrill for wildlife adventurers.
Secondly, the Andes have a huge impact on the culture of Bolivia as people are seen still practicing the Andean customs to this day. Finally, one of the wonders that still stand tall in Bolivia is the Palacio de Sal(the Palace of Salt), which is the hotel build entirely of salt bricks. This lies around the edge of Salar de Uyuni. The people in Bolia are extreme foodies and they love to celebrate as they keep partying around. However, the country has a rich history and fascinating culture. All this makes it a one-of-a-kind adventure.
CULTURE AND HERITAGE
Bolivian people are kind and you are going to receive a warm welcome when you visit the place. Although Bolivia has a lot of geographical marvels to exaggerate, it shares similar pride about its ethnicity, culture, traditions, and norms. Furthermore, the way they blend their traditions with the modern lifestyle is quite splendid. The way they celebrate their festivals is very remarkable. People still put on traditional costumes to sing, dance, and jubilate. One of the most famous cultural events of Bolivia is Oruro Carnival which showcases the illustrious folkloric devil dance and costumed parades. Therefore, this event should be a pre-planned trip because it lasts for several days.
CUISINE
The food in Bolivia is a combination of Spanish cuisine and as mentioned earlier, the Aymara traditions. You can even see a hint of other cuisines in the local food and delicacies of Bolivia. Papas Rellenas is a potato dish, wherein potatoes are stuffed with either cheese, boiled eggs, or some spicy mix. Another great dish that resembles meat pie is the Salteñas. This is a popular snack that is filled with meat, egg, olives, and veggies and then baked.
For a nice lunch, you can try the Mondongo, a fried pork dish served with corn, potatoes, and red aji chili sauce. How can we not mention the Bolivian chocolates?! Bolivia is home to one of the best chocolate brands in the world, Chocolates Para Ti, being one of them offers around 20 different flavors of rich chocolate.
The upshot is that Bolivia is a goldmine of adventure and unusual thrill. Traveling and exploring this country will give you unique experiences and bring up the lost excitement in you.
