I love New York. It’s a little bit of the whole world… In New York, the whole world comes to you. -Billy Graham

New York. New York! You got my heart even in the dark.

New York is the fourth largest metropolitan city and the second greatest city in the world after Tokyo. It is also regarded as ‘The Big Apple’ or the ‘NYC’ and is one of the busiest and most populous cities in the United States. What a blissful city with the bustling, cosmopolitan charm shouldered around with the most beautiful skyline in the entire world. God! I just love New york.

Hey Folks! I am Kaustubh! Founder of ‘One Ticket Please’ and I welcome you to my website. Here I present you with my travel experiences and adventures. To give exquisite details about the way to reach the destination and also pinpoint the ethnic attractions.

A quick overture regarding New York is that New York is the city resting on the North-Eastern coast of the United States. Let me remind you New York is also a state, so beware before you talk about any of it, make sure you regard the metropolitan as ‘NYC’ that is New York City, and the state as the New York State. New York in itself is a landmark of the United States since it shadows the entire nation with its archetypal aura.

The USA has stunning beaches and fascinating scenic views all the way long. Every state in the USA has unique destinations to offer you as a traveler.

Firstly, NYC is a global center for finance, communication, films, politics, fashion, culture, and like thousand other things. It is one of the most influential cities around the globe. New York City houses one of the most appreciated museums and art galleries that are one of a kind and can only be found in a handful of places around the globe. Wall Street located in the lower Manhattan part of New York is the financial headquarter of the world. That is to say, because the headquarters of some of the leading financial companies touch the sky in this surrounding. Consequently, the city has so big of an influence on the world and on all its other inhabitants that is hard to overstate. The decisions that are made within the boundary of NYC are so eulogized that they have great impacts and ramifications all around the globe.

Let me picture you the geography of this metropolis since we are speaking about the Manhattan part. Subsequently, New York – The city is roughly divided into five boroughs namely – The Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Staten Island. The Bronx is the Northernmost point and Staten Island lies in the South. The main area where all the real stuff goes onto is Manhattan.

Manhattan is the most well-known part of the city. That is to say, because the streets here have themselves become iconic with striking names as Broadway, Wall Street, Madison Avenue, and many more. Manhattan is an island similar to Mumbai, the financial capital of India. Manhattan is a concrete jungle and that inimitable skyline that is so high takes you up to the heavenly touch but not to the gods’ land but rather to the man’s own land.

Moreover, Manhattan houses around 90% of NYC’s breathtaking skyline and majestic engineered structures. Rockefeller Center, the Empire State Building, The Met, Freedom tower, Hudson Yards, H&M, the American bank tower, and many more skyscrapers have been taking the pride of New York higher and higher every decade.

Similarly, there is a lot to see in other parts of New York but it is Manhattan that represents the actual New York, and also sometimes the entire United States of America.

New York is a different world within itself. Again, that is to say, because every working New Yorker is a sleep-deprived person running after their dreams trying to get that corner office and not to say but living that SUITS life. Therefore, to maintain this speed the New York transportation is super fast as well. Obviously, the subways are not as new as Delhi or Hongkong, but they are fast and that is what is of the utmost importance.

The subway network is widespread throughout the city and somewhere upstate as well. Every exit of the subway is roughly 2 miles away from the other and 0.4 miles or less away from your actual destination. Also, the city bus service is quick and takes you to some remote locations as well. But as a traveler in New York, it’s better to prefer a subway over the bus. A week’s pass for the subway will cost you $33. Moreover, NYC is a place to walk around as there is some happening thing or a place right around every corner.

The city has millions of food options, so stop worrying about food if you ever plan a trip. And with big cities, there is always a myth rhyming around that food will be the most expensive part of your trip. I am telling you NYC has food options right from $0.99 per meal to $90,000 per meal. It is all up to your pocket now. The NYC $1 pizza started by 2 bros is one of the best places to spend your dollar on a hungry afternoon.

Apart from that, every street has numerous food trucks mostly owned by middle eastern and Indian people. Fast life needs a fast bite and thus these food trucks come in handy. Chicken over rice, Chicken Gyro, Falafel, Shawarma, Hotdogs, and Sweet Pretzels are some of the quick bites served on these trucks.

From the colossal Statue of Liberty to the Empire State Building hovering over the Manhattan skyline, from the Rockefeller Centre to the highest rooftop in the western hemisphere, from the underground subway tunnels to the riches of Wall Street, from the Yankee Stadium in the Bronx to the beach amusement park on the Cooney Island, and from the natural beauty of the Central Park to the bright lights of the Times Square, New York City has it all. It is a house to immigrants from over 180 countries worldwide and this is what makes it the most cosmopolitan city in the world.

The wonderful New York City leaves you SPEECHLESS; however, it fills your heart with gratitude and a lot of love. Such is the grace of this divine beauty!

London is Satisfied, Paris is resigned but New York is always hopeful.

Happy Travel!
